Outpatient Services : Four days a week from 9.00 am to 2.00 pm; Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.
Inpatient Services: Thirty-bedded psychiatry ward on the ground floor of the hospital. Patients of any psychiatric disorder may be admitted and treated. Facilities for de-addiction and psychosocial rehabilitation are available
Emergency Services: Round the clock
Electro Convulsive Therapy
Clinical Psychology Services
Battery of tests available for intelligence, personality, aptitude, memory, brain dysfunction etc. The testing is done by professional clinical psychologist registered with the RCI.
Psychotherapy
Psychotherapy is the treatment, by psychological means, of problems of an emotional nature, in which a trained person deliberately establishes a professional relationship with the patient with the object of removing, modifying, or retarding the existing symptoms and promotes positive personality growth and development.
Individual psychotherapy including relaxation therapy, cognitive behaviour therapy, inter-personal therapy is done. Marital and family counselling is done.
Family pathology assessment and management is available.
Group Psychotherapy
Career counselling and aptitude tests available Childhood and geriatric psychiatric disorders are all treated. A special educator is available for training of the mentally subnormal child.
